Blog of a Student

I am currently a student of life. I graduated from Guilford College with a dual degree in Computer Information Technology and Philosophy. Now I do freelance programming and go on philosophical quests within my own mind. I like creating new things and I only sleep when I have to. I love robots and cars. I started this blog in 2008 and some months I post more than others but I always seem to come back.

Finally, Heinz reinvents the ketchup packet! Now you can dip - OR - squeeze. And it holds 3x the ketchup - so less handfuls of ketchup packets.
Genius.
“Heinz, which sells more than 11 million ketchup packets a year, will continue to sell its traditional foil packets as well, ABC News reported. The new packaging is getting a road test in the Midwest and Southwest this summer and is expected to be available in fast-food restaurants this fall.
In addition to updating the ketchup packet, Heinz is reducing the sodium content of its core line of ketchup products by 15 percent. It’s also launching Simply Heinz Tomato Ketchup, which uses sugar in place of high-fructose corn sweetener.”

I saw this on the news yesterday… heres my issue: If you open the “traditional foil packets” along the long side it is just as easy to dip items… so besides holding 3x more ketchup how is this more useful?
